2017 GCSC PICNIC

It's that time again!! The annual GCSC PICNIC is June 11th from 12pm-4pm at Garden City Park. This event is FREE for all of our players and their families! No need to RSVP- just put it on the calendar!! Just check in at the registration table and have a blast!!

We have FREE food, bounce houses, music, raffles and MORE!!

We always look for volunteers for the picnic so if you would like to help, please sign up at http://signup.com/go/IOLzgtZ or email Jill at eventcoordinator@gardencitysoccer.com for more information. All of our volunteers will receive a free t-shirt!

ALSO- we ask EVERY team to come up with a team basket to donate for the picnic. Ideas include- Lottery ticket baskets, Beach baskets, Games Baskets, Movie Baskets, etc.

We hope to see all of our players and their families!!



FREE CLINICS


June 12-14 from 6pm-8pm, the GCSC will be hosting free training sessions at Rotary Park for age groups U9-HSO. We will also be providing food for the players as well. Come learn some new soccer skills with our E licensed coaches!!



SELECT TRYOUTS

On June 17th and 18th, GCSC will be hosting select tryouts at Rotary Park. Select tryouts are for those players who are ready for a more competitive league. These are the ONLY dates to tryout.



DETROIT CITY FC

GCSC will be one of the clubs recognized at the Detroit City FC game against Kalamazoo FC on June 23rd at Keyworth Stadium in Hamtramck. Our club will be recognized during the game and a few of our players could even be selected as ball girls/boys. DCFC is also giving our club a reduced admission of $8 per person.

GCHS COUGAR CAMP


August 1-4th, the Garden City High School along with GCSC will be conducting a training camp for players born between 2012-2004. The cost of the camp is $40 which includes a t-shirt and pizza party on the last day. Please download the registration form at www.GardenCitySoccer.com. More details to follow!

Galaxy Select Tryouts

The Galaxy Select Tryouts for the Fall 2017/Spring 2018 seasons will be June 17th and 18th at Rotary Park. Please arrive 30 min before your tryout time to register. Please preregister if you plan on trying out.

Bowling Fundraiser

Field Day

GCSC Coaches, parents and families:

Saturday April 2nd will be our annual Spring season field day.
We will be setting up goals and nets on all fields in preparation for the upcoming spring season.
Meeting time and place will be Rotary Park pavilion at 10 a.m....
There is much to do and volunteers for this event are very valuable. Hope to see you there.
